Tools for Teens : CONNECTION & COMMUNICATION
This course is designed for all High school students, from Year 9 to Year 13
It consists of a 20-min introductory talk about Connection and Communication, and 10min mindfulness practice for all participating classes, followed by 90-min practical workshops in smaller groups throughout the day.
It teaches about connection and communication in a fun, holistic way, with a focus on team building, and includes trust & connection exercises and games, verbal and non-verbal communication, mindfulness, and ample discussion. It is taught using drama exercises and techniques, making it a fun, engaging and thought-provoking experience.
Workshops can be extended, if the school prefers that timeframe, but for the students to get the full, embodied experience, they cannot be less than 90 minutes long.
This program is aimed at ALL High school students, regardless of their abilities, gender and their cultural or socio-economic backgrounds.
As the aim is to create more connection, understanding and support among students, it is really important that a particular section of students is not singled out.
TWO-DAY PROGRAM (recommended): Talk, and up to six 90min workshops, directly engaging and directly benefiting up to 300 students: $1'600 ( look out for frequent discounts)
ONE -DAY OPTION: Talk and three 90min group workshops: $950
